Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to start looking for your dress?

Ideally, 12-18 months before your wedding date. This gives maximum choice, and your dress may influence the other details of your wedding that you need to organise. You need to be ordering your dress ideally no later than nine months before your wedding date, to allow enough time for lead times and for your alterations.

If you are short on time, do not panic, I have a selection of ready-to-wear dresses that can be purchased and taken away on the day, and some designers offer rush order options.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, I operate by appointment only. That way you have privacy and my undivided attention!

How many guests can I bring?

People mean well, but too many opinions can be overwhelming and confusing. I recommend a maximum of three VIP guests, whose opinion you value.

What size are your samples?

Sample sizes to try on in the boutique range from size 8 to size 30.

What underwear should I wear?

I would recommend seamless, nude knickers and a strapless bra.

How do I pay?

50% of the cost of your dress is required to place the order and the remaining balance is paid when the dress arrives in the boutique.

Do you have a seamstress?

I am unable to accommodate a seamstress at the boutique, but I do have several seamstresses that I would recommend.
